Description
Laura’s Lieblingsplätze (Laura’s favorite places) is, as you might imagine, a family friendly hike suitable for children. When I say hike, I mean long walk.
Laura, you see, is a goat that may or may not be fictional. Her favorite places meanwhile, are spots along the route with beautiful vistas, and little wooden, phone booth sized sheds containing some games and educational materials about the region, for children. It’s cute.
Fun fact: The closest village and starting point is called “Gais”, which sounds suspiciously like “Geiss”, which is the Swiss German word for “goat”.
Notes
- Quite busy, even on weekdays.
- Close to civilization.
Impressions
Even though we have not yet been beset by little bundles of dead dreams, we enjoyed this long stroll quite a bit. All the goat stuff is cute, and the landscape is just beautiful.
If you need something shorter and less taxing like we did that day, this makes for a nice excursion. With or without children. If you want to avoid those, try to come on a school day (so not Wednesday afternoon, btw).
